How to change App Store region on iPhone

UNET VPN is currently unavailable in the Russian App Store. To install it, switch your Apple ID region (for example to Kazakhstan or the US).

If you have active Apple subscriptions, review migration constraints before changing region. You may need to sign in again after switching.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap your name, then go to Media & Purchases -> View Account.
  3. Authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID.
  4. Tap Country/Region.
  5. Choose a new country (US or Kazakhstan are common options).
  6. Review terms and tap Agree.
  7. Choose payment method. If you do not plan purchases, choose None.
  8. Enter billing address and tap Next.

Notes

  • - In Family Sharing, only the family organizer can change region.
  • - You can switch back later after installing required apps.
  • - If you use subscriptions often, consider creating a second Apple ID for App Store only.
